On the 24th of July, BayWa r.e. Operation Services attended the Elettricità Futura Roadshow “Chances to develop renewable sources in the electricity sector”. The event took place in Bologna at the local Italian Industrial Federation.
Paolo V. Chiantore, Managing Director of BayWa r.e. Operation Services S.r.l., presented a paper on “Professionalization of the O&M activities for the photovoltaic plants: best practices and new trends”.
The presentation included an overview of the trends in O&M, and comments on how the market leading companies behave. He explained how to support the development of modern O&M service and its professionalization through standardization, best practices and quality certifications.
In addition, the paper presented performance analysis, repowering, retrofitting and advanced inspections as some of the suggested actions that an advanced O&M operator as BayWa r.e can provide to their customer.
Elettricità Futura is the leading Italian association of the electricity industry. It represents many Italian companies, small or large, that operate in the electricity sector. Elettricità Futura has more than 700 members. The event was attended by leading national and regional companies as well as by local authorities.
