Mercedes Benz Italy
Project overview
The plant, which covers an area of about 7,000m2, was installed on the roof of one of the two plants at the logistics center in Capena, province of Rome. With an annual output of 638,500 kWh, the installation reduces CO2 emissions by 281,600 kg per year and covers more than 40% of the plant's energy needs. Excess energy is fed into the grid through the system of On-Post Exchange. The project enables a 35% reduction in the plant's energy costs.
