Solar park – Tarquinia

Project overview

This project has an installed capacity of 51.4 MWp and is connected to a substation built in Civitavecchia. The solar park, built on industrial land, provides electricity to more than 35,000 households. The system consists of 94,388 fixed modules with a unit power of 545 Wp.

Significant mitigation works reduce the environmental impact and improve the integration of the solar park into the surrounding area. These include an artificial pond suitable for amphibians and other aquatic life. Existing dry-stone walls were preserved and restored to maintain landscape integrity and facilitate local biodiversity. The planting of native plant species creates ecological corridors and improves environmental connectivity with nearby natural sites.
