BayWa r.e. completes ESS sale to Altenia, part of Terna Energy Solutions

Milan, 5 October - BayWa r.e. announces the completion of the sale of Energy System Services (ESS) to Altenia, a company of the Terna Energy Solutions Group.

Operating in Italy's EPC sector, ESS has extensive expertise in the delivery of HV/MV substations, as well as electromechanical and civil works supporting renewable energy generation facilities. The company also provides operation and maintenance services, helping to ensure reliability, safety and efficiency throughout the entire lifecycle of energy infrastructure.

Through this transaction, BayWa r.e. continues to implement its strategic roadmap in the European market, focusing on value creation and the optimization of its renewable platform.
